MYMATCH at ICM 2025 in Hangzhou (China)
Back

We were proud to have Paola Battilani, Marco Camardo Leggieri, and Antonio Moretti represent the MYMATCH project at the 7th International Conference of Mycotoxicology and Food Security (ICM 2025), held in Hangzhou from 17–20 November 2025.

During the event, our team shared both the overall vision of MYMATCH and the first project results on Alternaria–tomato modeling. This was a valuable opportunity to engage with the global scientific community, exchange knowledge, and strengthen collaborations on food safety challenges in the context of climate change.

About ICM 2025:
The conference, hosted by Xianghu Laboratory and organized by OCRI-CAAS and SKLQSAP, brought together experts from around the world to address the growing challenges of mycotoxin contamination in food and feed chains. Under the theme “Global Mycotoxin Challenges 2025: Risk Warning Assessment and Advanced, Sustainable, and Intelligent Management Strategies”, the event served as a platform for researchers, industry, and policymakers to share innovative solutions and foster international cooperation.

MYMATCH, funded by Horizon Europe, brings together 12 partners from 9 countries to predict and mitigate mycotoxin-related risks, culminating in the development of the AI Mycotoxin Management Platform, a tool designed to support researchers, farmers, industry stakeholders, and policymakers with tailored predictions and recommendations.
