The University of Parma accounts for 32,000 students and about 980 teaching staff units and 950 administration staff units. It is organised in 10 Departments and structured around 3 Campuses. The staff included in this proposal is based at the Department of Food and Drug. The group has a long-standing track-record in many research areas of food/feed chemistry, food safety, as well as computational toxicology.
UNIPR leads WP4, aimed collecting the existing knowledge and setting the stage for further modelling activities, and it is strongly involved in both WP5 and WP6 being in charge of metabolomics analysis for understanding the mycotoxin modulation effect due to climate change in both plant-pathogen model systems and fungal isolates. In addition UNIPR is involved in the modelling of exposure scenario of EU population in the view of climate change and dietary shifts.
