Partner description

The Norwegian Veterinary Institute (NVI) is a national biomedical research institute contributing to animal and fish health and welfare, food and feed safety, ethically defensible bioproduction and sustainable development in a One Health perspective. Our mission is to provide science-based advices to the authorities and other stakeholders in the food chain. Research on pathogenic and toxin-producing fungi has been an important area for many years at NVI.

Role in the project

NVI will have its main activities in the systematic reviews related to knowledge status of the relation between climatic factors, occurrence of mould and mycotoxins and detection methods (WP4), in field sampling of wheat and in vitro studies of effects of climatic parameters on growth and toxin production (WP5, WP6).
