We were proud to have Paola Battilani, Marco Camardo Leggieri, and Antonio Moretti<\/strong> represent the MYMATCH project<\/strong> at the 7th International Conference of Mycotoxicology and Food Security (ICM 2025)<\/strong>,<\/a> held in Hangzhou from 17\u201320 November 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, our team shared both the overall vision of MYMATCH and the first project results on Alternaria\u2013tomato modeling<\/strong>. This was a valuable opportunity to engage with the global scientific community, exchange knowledge, and strengthen collaborations on food safety challenges in the context of climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About ICM 2025:<\/strong>
The conference, hosted by Xianghu Laboratory and organized by OCRI-CAAS and SKLQSAP, brought together experts from around the world to address the growing challenges of mycotoxin contamination in food and feed chains. Under the theme \u201cGlobal Mycotoxin Challenges 2025: Risk Warning Assessment and Advanced, Sustainable, and Intelligent Management Strategies\u201d<\/em>, the event served as a platform for researchers, industry, and policymakers to share innovative solutions and foster international cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MYMATCH, funded by Horizon Europe<\/strong>, brings together 12 partners from 9 countries<\/strong> to predict and mitigate mycotoxin-related risks, culminating in the development of the AI Mycotoxin Management Platform<\/strong>, a tool designed to support researchers, farmers, industry stakeholders, and policymakers with tailored predictions and recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
